Looks fine to me. It shows people who want to continue to support the game, what new extras there are. For new players who haven't been following the development, it gives them a opportunity to see what's available.

I like it. Here's an angle that I haven't seen mentioned yet ...
Normally we would not hardly even see the content on that page because we skip through it quickly to get to Login and Play. But if there is really something new then chances are we would actually like to have the chance to see and consider it. If the imagery is large and dominant then it will trigger our "hey something is different" attention but if it is insignificant then we will just click on through and not notice.
Compare this screen to other games and other apps such as DivX and so on and you will see that it is quite a reasonable look.
