Now let the money roll in : Type 7

Same here, Type 7 just doesn't turn my crank. I also can't understand why the Python is SMALLER than the Type 7 yet can carry MORE cargo???

Type 7 = 232 Max no shield Cargo, 420 Ton Hull, Large sized pads only
Python = 292 Max no shield Cargo, 350 Ton Hull, Med sized pads

Bizarre, almost looks like a typo/bug.

I find this confusing as well, why is a medium ship capable of carrying more cargo than a large ship, one whose main purpose is to haul cargo?

A small box can cost more that a larger one, but you're sure as hell ganna pack more into the bigger box.... if it's intentional, the logic there just seems flawed.

I think the real typo is that the Type seven is listed as a MEDIUM ship when you are looking at buying it. Then AFTER you purchase it, you realize that it actually is a LARGE platform ship. Very misleading.

Right but a 420 Ton Hull that is 100% dedicated to hauling cargo should be able to carry more cargo than a 350 Ton Hull that is a Hybrid/cruiser/frigate/fighter/etc...

Somehow I think they got the internals wrong. The Python has 3 Class 6 spots but the Type 7 only has 2... as per my above statement, the Type 7 should be able to carry MUCH more cargo than a Python.

Same as a £500 smart phone is smaller than a cheapo smart phone ? Ok crap analogy, but you pay for the Python and therefore pay 3x for compactness and how clever it is. Granted the description on the T7 is wrong as medium.

The T7 is built to cost and cheaply. I know there are vans on the road that are bigger but haven't the horse power to carry or tow as much cargo as more expensive and smaller vans.

Anyway, it is a game, not real life.
