Now paths cannot be replaced without moving buildings

Before the last update you could replace normal paths with wide ones without having to move buildings. Now you can't because the buildings block the wide paths. I would like to go back to the old system.

I love the update. It's fascinating, but please I'd like to be able to use the old path substitution system without turning the whole park upside down.

Hi Parritron!

As far as I'm aware, we didn't make any changes to the path upgrade system with Update 2. Is this for all buildings or just Amenities (since they snap to paths). Could you also let me know which platform you're playing on, and if you're playing with mods?

I play without mods on a Sandbox map in Oregon with the research and expedition options activated.

I had a very small park because I had hardly built much when I investigated the wide path and when I replace it I can't because it hits all the buildings.

Thank you for the additional information. I will share this with the team. For now, using "Move Buildings" might be your best option when you want to upgrade your paths.

Hi Jens, thanks for the reply. I have a doubt about this. Was the "installation path" in the game before update 2? I have realized that it is that path that gave me problems when replacing it with the wide path.

Most small paths have a footprint that allows to upgrade to medium and large later. But Facility Path (or "Installation Path", same meaning) doesn't have upgraded versions, and so has a small footprint and doesn't reserve space to go bigger.
