Now that I've been promoted to Admiral...

...I pledge to defend the Federation with my last, defiant pacifier shot, against all enemies, foreign and domestic.

I will protect the corporations and their profits.

I will bring the war to all who oppose humanity and the Federal way of life.

I will....oh heck, who am I kidding? :ROFLMAO:

Now I've reached the top rank, I'll corrupt the Federation from the inside out. With Imperial values. That discount Corvette I brought last night? Ready and waiting to transport Imperial Slaves!!

Make sure you get a nice white paint job on it.

Although, smuggling illegal commodities is the first step onto the dark side. Pirating all those low temperature diamond carrying Federation ships in the agricultural systems wouldn't be a bad next step...

I have been spending a lot of time in my Pirate Cutter recently. Even robbed a T7 of some LTDs. Yes, I've gone Dark Side. Had to happen eventually. I blame the Cutter raider ship kit I purchased. If I'm gonna look like a raider I'm going to act like one and have fun doing it.

I have a message for the Federal haulage fleet - I am coming for your LTDs! 😀

Ha, I'll give him some Earl Grey and he'll be fine. :D

Ahhh... someone with my own sense of propriety. Yesterday, I was but a lowly Lieutenant Commander. Then I found out about the Double Prizes for running fed missions. I have been slowly grinding towards the "Star Destroyer" for a while now, but that all changed yesterday. The jobs I wouldn't do for high rep became the ONLY jobs I would do. I found a station that I was friendly with had scanning missions for high rep. Usually I don't like those as much as they always involve paying fines, dealing with ground stations and having to go to the pokey when I go to clear my name.

Now I am Post Commander at 40%. I can almost taste it... then I shall go back to Bask in the Glory that is the Empire! I like the Cutter but it looks like a cruise ship. And feels too... too... ST:TNG Season 1 for my taste. "Oh, Captain! I feel such a sense of joy and happiness." Ugh.

But now... with my soon-to-be Corvette... I shall smuggle slaves into Fed Space! (YAY!) Fight the Federation at every turn! (YAY!!) Get a gold paint job for it and wear a purple outfit with a peacock feather stuck into an outrageous floppy hat ala Sean Connery in Highlander!!!! (uh... yay?) Yes!!! It will be glorious.

LONG LIVE THE FIGHTERS!!!!! uh... no, wait.. LONG LIVE THE EMPIRE!!!!!

All the same ...

:p

I'm a very strict roleplayer, so once I pick a side, I stick with that side. Thankfully I'm a supporter of the Federation, so I can take advantage of the recent buff to ranking. Of course this means I'll never own an Imperial ship. I tried those ships on my alt account on PS4, and while I like the Cutter's hull, I never was a fan of the JJ Abrams bridge.

Now if it was possible to STEAL an Imperial ship and use it for infiltration (ROTJ style), that would be fun!

Fortunately, neither the Federation nor the Empire never asked my CMDR to swear an oath for the privileges of rank and station; it was a straight up trade. "Donate to our cause, move some contraband, and make a few dozen inconvenient officials disappear forever", they said "and we'll put you in the books as licensed for certain vessels". Sounded easy enough, and it was!
