now this is a first for me ...a ringed ELW, in a 4-star system, in between two gas giants.

I'm rushing back home from over 10klys out to optimize my ship before the 10% component tax kicks in... and come across this...
I'm sure others have seen this, but it's a first for me. Picture says a thousand words.

I've not seen anything like it, myself, but I'm practically an Exploration noob on Trailblazer. Nice shot.
Thanks
Almost missed it because I'm running full tilt to get back to the inhabited universe.
But its funny.. on the way out here, I scanned honked each system, scanned each sun, found 1 elw, every other system was borring... HM rockey planets with nothing of interest.
Now that I'm in a rush, I'm finding stuff like this -- the very net system I hit just now after taking these shots was a neutron star system with a blue white sun, the inner most planet is a gas giant, two water worlds, and an ammonia world.

Earlier today I jumed 1,500 lys in twenty minutes... these two systems alone took me 20 minutes to survey :))

I found a very similar ELW once with 2 rings, both metallic. Although whenever I look at the galaxy map and see what system I somehow missed within around 20 Ly of it, I kick myself...

AND on my third jump, yet another earth like world. And this one doesn't even look like it, I was sure it was a water world.
Jeeze, I'm never going to get back before the tax at this rate :)

Wow. 1500ly in 20min is quite some pace, how did you manage that? Best pace I managed was a jump every 45sec, which doesn't give much time for scooping so keeping it up for more than 10 jumps wasn't possible.
How do you manage 1500ly in 20min? I want to copy your technique. :)
