Right then, I want a warning about leaving the station forgetting to buy any cargo! Yes, it is a real thing, and yes, it has happened to me many a time, usually on a saturday night after coming home from the pub! [noob]

I said it before, a Set Default slider or numerical value (kinda like your mouse speed), so when you click on resupply/restock, it automatically tops up this value. Would solve so many issues regarding forgetting to re-stock on Limpets.

Was funny seeing him have that realisation in the video though.

I really thing FD has to design this one right and we get a warning when thinking about launching from the pad without picking up the missions we are really interested at that time, instead of the convoluted menu clicks and stuff, but a warning before leaving the station is too late, I'd need it before to show a modal dialog saying 'are you sure you want to leave the pad? there are 2 missions you would pick up' if I ever think of clicking 'launch'

Seriously if you guys play on PC get EDDI. It is free, simple to use, and highly customizable. I use it in conjunction with VA and adds a lot more depth and QOL features to the cockpit.

EDDI gives me a warning if I depart without limpets, annoyed me so much I turned it off. Went ice mining outside the bubble last night, forgot to buy limpets.

@ocflyer - I wouldn't have enjoyed using synthesis to create 300 tonnes of limpets.

Do you know how to change EDDI so it only warns you if you have a small amount of limpets? On my rig it warns me unless I have 50 or more limpets on the ship. I don't need to normally carry that many, mostly just scavenging for engineer stuff.

It is triggered based on 10% of you cargo capacity. If it is below that amount it give you the warning. In the speech responder tab in EDDI select the Limpet Check and click view. You can adjust the percentage amount there.
