No...not the new Air(Space) Traffic Controller's voices. Those are fantastic. I'm still trying to ask the Hottie Russian out but she'll only talk business with me so far. I mean the guy that hasn't written his wedding vows or that gal that is fleeing the system because things have gotten so bad. Are they there just to add a little color and life to the Galaxy or are they trying to tell us something?

Look I've killed more than my share of Wedding Barges just to shut them up. Turns out that Wedding guy, that has never seen the whole family together and has no idea what his wedding vows are...is telling us one of the factions in the system is in an Economic BOOM state. Useful info for traders as sell prices are better and I beleive Influence counts more for trading.

The Gal fleeing the horrible conditions in the system. State of WAR close by along with Conflict Zones. Maybe even a Capital Ship or two. Seeking Weapons will most likely be there also.

So what other ubiquitous NPC chatter have you seen and what are they really trying to tell us?

Hmm.

I never knew they were actually telling me anything. All this time and I thought they were just being annoying.

+rep for the tips. I read tips like this and I feel both thankful to the OP and then I feel down right stupid for not figuring it out sooner.

Example: Did you know that you can drop out of super cruise at nav beacons and scan the nav beacon and they will give you all the exploration data of a system?

Nah not stupid. It took me 8 or 9 months to make the correlation and that was after playing the BGS for my own Minor Faction. Even now I can't say I'm 100% right but it sure seems to be the case. Might be nice if a Dev would drop in and say "Yes. They are telling you something. You figure out what."

In the end it's little hidden gems like this that draw me into the game. There's more going on out there than we realize. In addition to BOOM there are FAMINE and OUTBREAK states that I'm sure have NPC Chatter that go along with them.

I already worked that out. But i gotta say, the 6000 credit bounty is so worth it to blow them things away.

When they yell in all CAPS "HELP! PLEASE WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?!" It means I'm tearing through their power plant and drooling over their cargo hold.

Who knew?
