NPC comms

you would be able to select from a preset list that would change depending on if you have a target ship selected or not.
This list would appear in the same hud as requesting docking access.

Initially your choices would be minimal until additional functionality is added. But some things that would work fairly simply that could impact npc behavior are things like
"Taunt" - Effective against any npc and can cause them to become aggro against you. This can also decrease faction relations
"thank" - effective against npcs you who have assisted you in some way. This boosts faction relations with that faction if so.
" request help" - If an enemy npc is targetted, this comm is available and sends to "instance" level chat. npcs within range have a chance at responding based on faction relations and if you are the aggressor or defender. Request help is also effective if no enemy is targetted and you are disabled (damaged or out of fuel).
" warn" - effective against npcs to avoid a confrontation that they may lose to avoid the hassle as a player killing them. Particularly aggro npcs will not be dissuaded.
"pirate" - effective against npcs to demand cargo. This can be used multiple times to request more valuable cargo or more of their most valuable cargo. NPCS have a random chance to agree or fight / flee. This will result in a fine where applicable.
"Yes" - response to any npc request
"No" - response to any npc request

future options could be things like "join my wing" or "escort me" or responding to npc requests such as "Help me" etc.

chatting up your own hired crew has different effects. Perhaps if you're mean to them, they maybe dont do that great of a job ...or nice to them they do a better job :)
