NPC crew now too valuable to risk losing in Open play

Because I won't do this again. But the Elite NPC is a boss with fixed weapons!

I have to wonder if anyone on the entire internet actually realizes that the phrase “ (like) a boss” actually means the person being described in such a manner is actually incompetent and blinded by their own inflated sense of self-worth - like a boss. Hence the phrase.

incorrect

its origins may be from ironic intentions, but language changes, and like the word "literally", which now can mean "figuratively" the "entire internet" has moved on and you should too.

Also regardless of my NPC crew or anything else MY TIME is not worth playing in open.

My CMDR has three Elite ranked crew specifically so that I can always field one in PvP.

Takes about a week to take one from Harmless to Elite, and about 18 months to get one killed, so I've had the same group for quite a while at this point.

I got mine up to deadly, and then I lost him. I have literally no idea how or when. When I realised I was sad. Then I vowed never to have another kitten crewman again. Besides, in sanctioned pvp, only expert is allowed, (because) you can hire those, but who would? They're pretty rubbish. Shouldn't perma die. Quite the opposite, should eb a perma-companion so you can build up a rapport with your 'crew', if I have a life pod and I'm in charge of this crew, then I say my crew gets life pods too. Capiche, FD?

I've never used the parasite AI crew feature. It's from that era of Elite where they started going off the rails and adding features that were completely uninteresting to me.
