NPC Crew won't use guardian fighter weapons...

Does anyone know any fix for this utterly absurd bug? I've tried manually setting fire groups inside the fighter however the crew member just will not use the weapons on my fighters...

She just flies around doing nothing, leeching away any money that I cash in for literally no benefit. Is there an actual solution to this? or should I just call it a day with this NPC and just get rid of her... not really what I want to do as I levelled her to Elite but she's just draining 10% of everything I make for no benefit at all

So they won't attack anything in an AX zone. They will attack things in a Res Zone.The Trident seems to work OK in the res zone. The other two have an issue where the weapons will be switched off under menu 4. If you switch seats and power up the weapons under the modules list, then switch back to the mothership, they will use the weapons until the ammo has run out. Then they need to redock to replenish the ammo. You may have to do the work around to get the weapons up again. Been spotty for me there.

The fact that they won't attack in the AX zone is utter garbage on FDEV's part, they don't give a darn and would rather sell you ship kits that block hardpoints then actually make their own game mechanics work.

Imagine creating a mechanic that takes literal hours and hours of travel and game play to unlock, so that you can use the specific tool for a gameplay loop (AX combat) - and have that simply not work is ridiculous. People have lives and jobs, and doing this sort of thing is straight up disrespectful of people's time.

Starfield can't get here soon enough.
