NPC griefers - what a bore

My hauler Around Here Somewhere has been to black hole systems and back. It's seen things. Flew too close to a neutron star, and lived to sell the tale.

Decided to potter around the major systems - a bit of sightseeing. Pop to Sol, then Alpha C. Get interdicted by an NPC Asp. I have no cargo, no weapons, no bounty, no value yet this jerk attacks. I run, but fail to get clear. Then three SSVs appear - hooray, the cavalry has arrived. Then one by one they disappear. And the jerk is still on my six, pewpewing.

Boring boring boring. Pointless pointless pointless.

If it was a human, I'd call griefer.

So now its time to take to the stars in Around Here Somewhere Too. Going far far away, looking for peace and quiet. And stellar remnants.

I like to think of the police, and how they operate, as an extrapolation based upon the current MO of the law enforcement agencies of the United States. Last time they showed up to 'help' after I got interdicted the first thing they did was scan my hold and fine me for carrying illegal goods :p Reminded me to turn off 'report crimes' again though.

NPCs are far more psychopathic than the vast majority of players. Best option is to play open mode and hope they go for somebody else!
