NPC Pilots Really SUCK at Flying

I'm REALLY frustrated right now. I just got rammed by an erratically flying NPC ship (no other "real" players in my zone at the time) coming in to dock at a station with my hold full of expensive metals. I wasn't flying fast but the NPC blasted out of the station and thrusted sideways into me. Because I was running without shields to maximize cargo, the impact ended me. I lost my Hauler, my cargo (about $200k worth), and I'm left with the $150k in credits that I had saved which is less than 50% of my net worth five minutes ago.

NPCs are terrible flyers. I can't count how many of them are stuck in the mouth of a station clogging up the only opening or being shot at inside the station. I've even gotten shot accidentally when the station started shooting at one. They also always stick right to the middle when multiple ships are entering & exiting a station. Should so many ships get shot at INSIDE a station? Really?

My question is, can we get the NPCs to fly slightly better and have a little respect for other pilots? Please?

I kinda think that the stations should be one side in and the other side out. But that would be too large a change. Which ever engineer designed those stations with the tiny little hatches really didn't go to school. But in terms of it being a game it is kinda fun dodging the NPCs in the dock entrance. However, crashing should = death.

They do need some work. Maybe don't sell your shields though?..
I know. For my part, I realize that shields are important.

The irony was it was supposed to be my last run in the hauler and I was going to upgrade to a Cobra so I could have more space AND shields.

I was flying straight and level, aligned with the mouth of the station. I was being careful. The NPC wasn't.

Never saw a NPC "blasting" out of a station...

The only ramming incedents i had near a station were overworking police trying to scan me at all cost and ramming me in the process...
