I don't know what a "TED" talk is but, again, your reply (quote one above) comes across as rude and abrupt.
........

There is a great deal of good stuff in the TED Talks (I use the app on my phone quite a lot), for example:

(by the way, that is Technology, Entertainment and Design, not some bloke called Edward)

I think, as there were only three minutes between quotes two and three above - and the fact your edit was nine minutes later - your "Anyone? Anyone? Yeah didn't think so." would came across as trollish salt. It did to me and I replied civially anyway.

I don't know what a "TED" talk is but, again, your reply (quote one above) comes across as rude and abrupt.

Probably just me being presumptuous so I apologise if so but then again, you won't be reading anyway.
The edit was because I had posted something... pretty snarky, then thought better of it. I do that sometimes. Mostly because in the 'heat' of a moment my brain isn't always fully engaged and my emotions are, which tends to make some of my comments and reply's less than civil, which is something I am trying hard not to keep doing. So, you may well see comments from me that have been edited, usually to remove snark (or the worst of it at least), but occasionally to add additional information that I may have forgotten as I was writing. Getting close to 60, my memory isn't always the best, and my general grumpiness is more from chronic aches and pains, than any actual dislike or anger towards people. Hope that makes sense. Anyway, look up TED talk if you haven't already, some pretty awesome conversations going on in them.

edit or in this case, I had a spelling error to correct.

Apology accepted. Just spare a thought to those of us who try to lend a hand with our limited time. We like to help other players in this forum, but patience is limited.

Glad you got what you were after - enjoy your journey,

Looks like the replies were good Brenda. Most interdictions for solo cargo runs happen in the system they are being delivered in to. The interesting ones happen when trading in Wings - a Wing Interdiction can happen anywhere, to anyone who is in the wing - sometimes hundreds of light years away. Also, you may get 7 or p interdictions slated (as opposed to the usual 4) if you are doing a long-duration mining mission and Courier missions can also attract interdicters that follow you from system to system.

Sometimes I like to dock and swap ships from my freighter to my fighter. (I call it cat-fishing). You still get interdicted as long as your mission is still open - but now you have the teeth to turn and bite - so do carry a limpet controller and a few limpets for all that lovely loot!

If you aren't part of a squadron yet, I can recommend one or two. The fun more than doubles if you Wing trade with friends - eh Frankymole? ;o)

Good luck )
