NPC Pirates Are Just Plain Silly!

Sorry SJA, but it has to be said. Pirates in anarchy Nav beacons trying to pirate other pirates. I think that's really stupid, pirates should work together for those cargoes! It's very, oh so very annoying when you're trying to pirate an ASP or T6 and a Viper comes around and scans YOU.

It makes me want to rip my hair out. Does anyone else agree?

The entire genericness and homogeneity of the game annoys me. This is a good example of it. So I agree.

I only did a small amount of pirating just to see what its like on the other side, I hated it.

NPC pirates really do suck, we need more players playing the pirate role.

Speaking As a bounty hunter FD really need to give some love to the pirating crowd to encourage more people into the role. Im also sure that if the piracy role was improved then we would see more genuine pirates and fewer aimless griefers.

I'm in clipper, hunting in RES...
Sidewinder says "cargo or death".
Are you kidding me?

Or, the enemy ship (regardless of type) is tumbling away at zero hull and says "Now I'm going to turn you into space dust." seconds before exploding.

It's literally the only gripe I have about the NPC's.....that poorly timed/executed dialogue that makes absolutely no sense for them to be saying.

''I am out of here !'' *turns around and continues the fight...

Pirateception is the best. Wait till traders start trading other traders in their cargo bays. Now that's something to see

well there is no real benefit out of being a pirate. Only maybe for the funs, but for sure not for the income. And after pp update you will see less of this bad boys called cmdrs.

Trust me, this NPC Pirates will become the love of your life

The other bad thing about npc pirates is they don't ask for cargo but will stop if you drop some. The worst part is their set "drop amount" doesn't correspond to ship type. I had an Eagle npc finally stop after I dropped it 40t of cargo. It then flew away and left it there.

1. An npc pirate should ask for a set amount of cargo

2. An npc pirate should scoop

3. An npc pirate shouldn't ask for more than it can carry
