NPC+Player wings And Ship transpiration services.

With the added Wings update. Players are allowed to form wings with each other, and NPC's with other NPC's. however I wonder if creating Wings with both players and NPC's is possible? after all, some of us prefer to play in solo mode, and in this mode wings will only hurt players as they have no access too it, while Npc's in a fight against them may gang up on the player if he or she shoots one member, even if the rest have no reason to fear said player. Also such activities could help a new player get used too the Wings system. Sometimes acting as a leader of a squad, able to give out quick orders in the chat window (perhaps in the wings tab, the number keys can be use to give commands such as Attack, focus fire, Spread out, Form up, prepare to jump, back away, so on). And sometimes the player can be hired into a wing as a mission, perhaps doing an escort of a transport of goods (lore states that Elite players are able to charge highly for their services, this would be one such case). In the mission perhaps your convoy is interdicted or ambushed, and you must listen too the commanding defender as to when, where, and who to attack. (this would also introduce players to targeting subsystems, which is a bonus).

Also Another idea I had is the concept of Moving ships stored in one station to another. Sometimes I have wished to move a ship in one system to another, however I also want to keep the one im piloting available there as well. Currently I have three ships, and with that their is no way to get the two ships I want too the location I want without buying an entire other ship just for that purpose, which is a waste of credits. Instead, you could in your galaxy map or in docking services under contacts, request someone to pilot that ship for you to a destination with a fee. Then the ship will be moved too that location after a certain amount of time, giving the distance and jump range of the ship in question. Of course this comes with dangers. The lower your reputation with a certain station or outpost, or the group running said facilities, Perhaps the person you hire is actually a filthy pirate or thief who is looking to swipe your ship for some credits, or just get payback if they don't like you. Then you have to go and hunt your ship down (and since its yours, its displayed on your galaxy map for a while before it is sold and is gone for good) And reclaim it. How? perhaps you have to destroy it and pay the insurance fee. or if its docked, Go down to said station and claim ownership of it, thus getting it back for free. Or if you get lucky, perhaps you will run into it again on your travels just as it was, and need to buy it back...at full price. Of course if your in good standing with the service you hire, such worries will fall, and you can safely expect your ship to arrive at your desired location. this way you could move your miner into a new system you just found a good belt in. Or perhaps you got word of a high bounty nearby, and need to get your hunting ship into the area?. Great trade offer found? no problem. Or you just happen to want to make a certain system your home because you like it.

Well, their are my two ideas. perhaps they are good, perhaps not. What do you all think?

With NPC + Player wings, I really just want to see large-scale missions where you, say, work for a pirate boss within his wing, and defend him while he robs a convoy, or escort a trader where you will be interdicted by a rival trade company, etc. Something that makes you feel as if you're just another pilot, not just this magic ace super-pilot that kills Elite Anacondas in 2 clicks of a mouse (which I can do with Plasmas in a Vulture).
