NPC runs into me, I'm charged with murder?

So I'm sitting still, way off the approach to a station, and some NPC runs into me and he explodes. I get a murder bounty. Or I'm hunting at the Nav Point, and an NPC runs into me, again, I'm charged with murder.

Unfortunate, but a known bug/glitch. Every now and then I detect a scan, and just a moment after either something collides to my shields or zips past by mere inches - even if I'm at stand-still.

I hope 2.1 fixes this, but that remains to be seen then.

I have had NPC's run into me too many times to remember. The one's that annoy me the most, is that I'm charged with reckless flying when an Authority NPC charges into me at great speed while it's scanning me, and I just happen to be going tad over the 100m/s speed limit.
 
Yes, those pilots are terrible! I've found that they hit you less if you are moving, and not in a straight line. You'd think it'd be the other way around, but no. They hit you more often if you are standing still, or moving in a straight line. So zig zag a little when you notice one close by :)

Well, you were speeding.

Kinda wish they could find a good way to establish intent, so ramming wasn't a thing. Maybe some path analysis or history.
