Newcomer / Intro Npc Ship Colour in Supercruise

Hi all, New to the forum, but not the game itself, I wanted to see if we can change the colour of other npc super cruising ships in the game Back to the colour blue which they were prior to the 1.1 update, does anyone else feel that there is a little to much orange and yellow in game which altogether is ok a little more colour brought back in would be a welcome change, I do not know the reasons why the colour was changed to a yellow orange colour from the unique blue colour it was, as this colour stood out very nicely and gave even better depth to super cruising...

Any thoughts...
cheers

Do you mean the light they are emitting? No, unfortunately that "blueshift" effect seems to be gone.

If you mean scanner icons, well, you can change the HUD colour with a bit of a tweaking. And once you befriend a faction, their ships turn green. :)

Yeah, I noticed a lot of ships and stations now are green. I didn't know if this was

a) a new feature in 1.2
b) a sign of me being friendly with a given faction which I'd never done before, or
c) a top o' the hat to the upcoming St. Patricks day.

I like the sound of the blue-shift, sounds pretty cool.

Green stations and ships are "friendlies".

Check your status tab on the RH panel, it will show you which factions you are friendly with in the local area.

You can become friendly by doing lots of things, shooting pirates, trading, doing missions. It can pop to friendly at any time. I think the fact it coincided with 1.2 was coincidence, either that or it's some kind of bug, bug-fix I've not heard of yet...

Lets Hope the DEVS are watching and reading and hopefully they will bring this back into the game it is a small fix/request.

This is just sad. Always like the sci-fi look of supercrusing.
Not sure why they made it look a lot more dull.

We have enough orange. Orange hud, orange suns, orange asteroids, and now orange super cruise. Boring to the eyes and makes me actually put down the game till more mechanics come out.

It's damn hard to tell if that's even a player or a npc if it looks like a damn star in the distance. Idk what they were thinking.

This is very true, as a beta backer I have had a great experience from joining the beta game submitting bugs and improvements, there was a couple of things similar to this that were changed due to the fact a new update occurred and they did change it back, but no luck on this one... I do agree there is a hell of a lot of orange it's ok but as you say adding in more of the same colour is getting too much... So hopefully the Devs will come across this little dilemma and make some minor visual changes. I have tried the screen colour change 3rd party software it's ok but does mess a lot more colours that we want to remain the same up, does not help in my case but I know of peeps that use it ok.

"So Bring back Supercruise Npc-player Ship Blue" colour back!!!! :))
