NPC teamwork in a combat zone; I just had to share this with you

I was in a combat zone earlier tonight, testing out different weapon loadouts in my Imperial Courier; I am not quite happy with sustained fire/dps yet.

The AI has clearly become more interesting, and I would dare say more than a little creative as well.
While hammering an Asp I got some unexpected help from an NPC member of my supporting faction, and I laughed pretty good from his/her contribution :)

Talk about shooting sparrows with cannons...

But but but, ramming is a legitimate tactic. I can hear that poor ASP pilot screaming as he is ground into space-dust.

Ahahahaha, good laugh +1 Commander :D

I can imagine what went through this NPC's head : "Oh snap, an allied Commander needs help for this Asp ! ENGAGE RAMMING SPEED !" :D
 
And that is why you never stop moving! What load out you running now/have you made up your mind on one?
I have been running with 1 fixed beam and 2 multicannons for a while, but still not happy. I don't understand how one beam on the courier is so underpowered compared to 1 beam on the Vulture, even though the vulture has one class higher. I thought the difference would be little on medium and smaller ships.
Gotta say I love the shield strength though! But weapons are under-performing imho.
