NPCs Chain-Interdicting during Shadow Deliveries?

So I recently made my first few attempts at Shadow Delivery smuggling missions out of Robigo, and I've been failing miserably. With some trial and error I'm a bit more used to the fast jumping, got extra fuel tanks, etc. Got to my first stop, and while supercruising to the station, the same NPC pirate just wouldn't stop interdicting me - I couldn't even move 30 ls without being torn out.

I eventually crashed into a huge ship that appeared in front of me as I was boosting away from the persistant one, and that was it. It made it totally impossible to get to my station. Is there any way I'm not thinking of to get out of this? The one thought I had is maybe more NPCs spawned because I had quite a few Shadow Delivery missions stacked - unsure of the exact number but it was at least ten. Would simply taking less at a time help, or do I need to be able to stand and fight? I'm in an Asp Explorer, 60-odd tons of cargo, several extra fuel tanks, light shields and a single weapon for discouraging police scans.

When this happens, and it is NPC Cheating, just either high wake out to another system then back again to do the delivery, or just jump to the next delivery and come back to this one.

Go to another system and do that one. Come back for this one. I've jumped out between jobs with stations in the same system. It can take a while to get up to speed coming off a pad.

Bit of speculation but I believe this is what happened:

-FDev found that no one was playing their interdiction minigame, just submit and boost.
-At that time NPC's didn't follow and the player often had a clear run to the station as all the spawned ships re-set unless the instance was held open by another player.
-Their fix was to make the NPC re-spawn behind you (just like a real player may follow your wake). It made NPC's more dangerous, more annoying and more like real players.

To avoid them re-spawning behind and chain interdicting you have to actively do something to get rid of them like change system, kill them, evade the minigame or similar.

Should have thought to jump away! Thanks folks, will give that a try later tonight. I've tried fighting the interdiction but I absolutely suck at it, so sounds like a better option :p

I found that depending on what your flying the easiest way to deal with them is to kill the NPC's. Other wise if you run, they will just follow and interdict you again and again. I've had a couple NPC's who even attacked me while I was at the station. It's pretty funny to watch all the cops, suddenly run and chase the guy shooting. Nice distraction as I cruise in with no scan. ;)

Plus of course depending on your time remaining, it can be a nice little cash in at the end of a run with all the bounties you collect (don't forget to KWS in anarchy systems).
