NPCs in the new ships?

Just dawned on me that I've yet to see an NPC flying any of the new ships in the wild yet? The Mandalay and T8 I can understand since they're still not in general release, but would have thought the occasional well-heeled NPC would be seen tootling about in a Python Mk2 by now?

I'd also like to see some ship kits on NPCs.

That might even be seen as 'free' advertising for the ARX store.

NPCs are all playing Horizons so are still saving their ARX to buy the new ships

It might be awhile before we see the NPCs use the new ships - even after they aren't ARX exclusive. I'm not sure how the NPCs are going to work with SCO drives.

Although that would apply to the old ships also, which can have SCO drives. We probably wont see ANY npc ships using SCO drives so there's no reason fdev couldn't add the new ships, it's probably just not a priority.

No NPCs using SCO drives either. I guess they're the only reason that Sirius Corporation is still in business.

I concur, I also saw an NPC Mandalay a few days ago. Come to think of it though, I've not seen any NPC Cutters....maybe I've just missed them.

I've noticed one NPC leaving a station in a Mandalay. There could have been other occasions, but often I'm not paying too much attention to what NPCs are flying.

NPCs fly them all the time now.

Cheapskates, if they had invested some Arx to get it earlier, the game wouldn't be dying

If they ever get around to adding the Panther Clipper, they could fund another three expansions by charging all the cheeky NPCs that appear to have had early, eaaaarly access for years now.
