NPC's no longer have fancy paint jobs?

I'm sure this is the case. I seem to remember Cobras in particular having sweet paintjobs.

This would be good, but I cant recall ever seeing an NPC with a custom skin myself. Anything for some variety though.

Basically, every pirate NPC had a fancy skin around 2.1.
