So, kind of just ranting here but also want to know what's up with a few things.
I was bounty hunting at a resource extraction point when after like 20 minutes I left the one I was at, and moved over a few LS to another one in the same ring. I was only at this one for about 5 minutes when I began getting attacked by two Eagles. They were NOT security forces, and they were "clean." They fired away at me over and over but still they were clean. I defended myself and as soon as I landed a hit, I got a 200 credit fine for assault. What the hell? Really? I can't defend myself from two random NPCs trying to kill me? I was not wanted when they started to attack me, in any system. Why don't they get a fine for attacking me?
The rest of the rant is that I left the RES without killing them because the coppers were coming and I didn't feel like dealing with it. Got back to the nearest starport and started to get scanned on the way in. Didn't sweat it much because I almost never take that long to get into the station. Go figure this is the one ' time I ever have trouble, get caught on the entrance way, and they finish their scan opening fire and blasting me away with ease. Almost 100k in bounties lost then 84k in insurance. Because two random Eagles attacked me.
