Number of Community Goals

With a galaxy of 400 billion star systems why are there not more than 1 or 2 community goals? With that many star systems, there should always be a bazzillion goals available somewhere!

It's got nothing to do with the number of stars, but the number of players doing CGs.

But I agree there should be more CGs. CGs often don't even last the weekend, so there is definitely capacity in the community to be active in several. Also, there's nothing wrong with CGs competing for players.
