edit: just seen a post that said there are about 19,000 systems in a sphere with economy. i'm guessing that means they're not the only ones.
anyone got a guess as to how much of the galaxy is inhabited? is it limited to a few hundred LY around sol as well as wherever the thargoids are, or is it more wide-spread?
have you guys looked at the core? it might be a long way away but there are plenty of stars there. question is: how many of those are inhabited?
this post interested me:
Humans and Thargoids are the only known sentient species in the galaxy, although artefacts of other races have been found. Of course a lot of the galaxy remains unexplored so there may be races not yet discovered, but I would expect them to be quite rare.
