Numerous issues thus far

So I purchased the deluxe version of this game and I've encountered quite the list of issues thus far. I'll begin with the from biggest to smallest issues I've encountered in hopes of getting some information.

1.Game keeps minimizing: I'm experiencing an issue where the game intermittently minimizes for absolutely no reason. No other application or game does this on my computer and even after a reset, the game continues to do this. It got so bad on the second tutorial I had to restart the mission as I couldn't do anything.
2. In the 3rd tutorial (panda park), as I'm setting up the panda display, it notes that Goldenrods, Labrador Tea Plants, and Protea plants are all unacceptable flora for the panda. However, for this mission they have built an unmovable, and uneditable structure which includes these plants. I am unable to select them individually, edit the structure, remove the structure, or resolve this issue. Thus I am unable to progress in the mission due to this.
3. Animal animations seem to be a bit out of whack. For example, instead of climbing, bears will walk up trees and stand with the trunk sticking through their bodies. On another occasion, I saw a lemur climb up an invisible tree to about 300' wherein the game told me it had escaped, then glitched back down to its enclosure when the warning randomly went away.
4. On several occasions, animals have randomly been boxed up for no apparent reason, and then remained in the box. At first, I thought this was due to the vets caring for them or some other reason, but then I saw it happen to my panda right in front of me while I was looking around its enclosure. No keeper, no vet, nothing. Just BAM, panda in a box.

While I enjoy this game in moments when there are no issues, it seems to be having quite a few issues at launch making it a bit tiresome to play. I am currently playing on my PC (Windows 10, 2080ti EVGA FTW3, i7-8700k, 16GB RAM) and have no issues with other games including Frontier's previous two installments (Jurassic World, and Planet Coaster). If someone could assist me or let me know if there are any plans to patch these issues in the near future, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks.

Oh, one other issue I seem to have as well is that I am unable to edit terrain covered by water and or remove water in enclosures.

Editing terrain while under water is indeed not possible. I think that is a intended side effect of the volumetric water that is there instead of the layer we got in Planco.

1. This sounds like a local issue. I won't be able to help with that.
2. That is a bit strange. Sounds like a design error in that level.
3. I've seen this happen on my side as well. Once a animal is higher than the barrier, there is a chance of getting a warning of a animal escaped (I read someone had that with a animal under ground, so it might be the same with animals below the barriers.
4. I had this too, when I changed some stuff in the habitat, I think the animal was glitched with the object I placed and made the animal reset to a boxed state.

While I cannot speak to some of the other issues that you're having, I was able to complete the panda park mission even with the negative flora. Be a bit more creative with the plants you chose to place (i.e., bigger trees) to counter the negative effects of the smaller flora.

Yes, the boxed animals for no reason bug is so annoying! It was happening in the beta and it is happening at launch too. Guess it is not easy to fix and needs further checking.

Update:
I am trying out franchise mode and am still encountering the minimizing issue. Additionally, I am having issues with pathing (staff constantly getting stuck, not knowing how to get to places right in front of them, etc.) as well as some animals I am purchasing aren't showing up (using both my points and cash.

Check if you don't have any active filters in your trading centre list which might prevent them from showing up.

Like DoomGloom said: It is possible to finish the scenario. Just filter your plants for the ones the panda enjoys and add some in. You can still get the bar green and the panda happy despite some negativ effect plants that are hardcoded into the shelter.

Servers aren't working now. Can't load my zoo. Looked on the steam forums and it's full of people posting this issue.

Reached a certain point, got 50 warnings that animals were starving, then they all started dying despite having like 6 extra staff of each type doing nothing. Had to close franchise despite researching every object and pretty much maximizing all animals in my zoo... Well that was a waste of an entire day...

Thanks Frontier... This game is almost as broken as simcity 4...

From server errors, graphical errors, ai errors, pathing errors, and everything in between... How is this game this broken?

I think I'm starting to notice a pattern. Keepers after a certain period begin to stop filling food trays etc. They'll come in, clean small areas of feces, and occasionally fill toys and the extra feeders but not the necessary troughs etc.Once again, maxed out most of the diseases etc while only keeping zebras, ostriches, and African dogs and ended up in the same situation where animals began to die off from starvation etc. Diseases were never an issue, and I found an area in one of my fences where the African dogs would magically pass through (which I had to create a new barrier around to prevent this. I've kept the map in case any of this needs replicating. I may stream this later tomorrow (or record a video). I really hope this gets fixed soon as many of these issues are essentially game breaking.

You can edit the terrain but you have to remove the water first . Right mouse click on the water and it disappears , Or if you go to the terrain tab for water , there is a remove water option there
