NVIDEA CRASHING

I have a GTX Geforce 750oc.....the new drivers and the drivers before keep crashing ED....it doesn't matter what you set or play about with it crashes..!..i have installed 341.44 drivers ..not 1 crash all day!!!....it does run a little slower and the odd jerk so i'll try an overclock....
so if your not getting GTA 5...stick to 341 drivers....

Or maybe use Driver Sweeper and do a clean install of the newest drivers (Which incidentally I don't have any issues with at all) before flagrantly blaming the drivers outright..

Yeah, I was without my R9 290 for a couple of weeks last month, waiting for it to be replaced, so I used an old GTX 470 with the latest drivers and had no problems at all.

Certainly no crashes.

Saw somewhere on these forums a post about latest Nvidia drivers (for GTA5) crashing Elite. Try rolling back to an earlier version, and try searching for the earlier thread. Doesn't warrant CAPs either......

Latest drivers are not crashing ED for me.

I would recommend completely uninstalling the current drivers and geforce software and reinstalling. If that doesn't work you may have a memory or heat build up issue.

FYI..it's spelled Nvidia.

Look out it's the spelling police!

i installed the latest driver and no crashes here.

does your graphics card come with a massive factory oc?

i only ask because in my experience of building rigs. cards with a massive factory oc always fail a few months in.

The latest (350.12) drivers are running fine here with Elite and my GTX 770, not a single crash.

yeh just what i saw...about rolling back and so far all good...sorry for the caps.....

Go for the full uninstall. Might even be worth making sure the drivers are deleted (or get an Nvidia uninstaller) then restart and reinstall. (Often this is quicker than farting about anyway).

I have seen on numerous occasions where factory overclocked cards don't run well in ED. Try taking your factory clock... and UnderClocking it 100mhz or so and see what you get.
