344.65? Wow, they're churning new versions out every other day! :D

Assasins Creed: Unity now officially supported - wouldn't be surprised if 65 performed with E: D exactly as well (or bad) as 48 & 60 drivers...

i looked through them nothing specific but looks like a bunch of bug and install fixes for nvidia experience and shadow play frames per second counter (having said that i was not too happy with the last driver as it seemed to mess up the control panel so i guess it's gonna fix that i hope) gimme a mo ill try to find the full notes and paste em here.. brb *goes of mumbling to self

Thanks for posting. +rep. :)

I've noticed a surprising increase in frame rate with 344.65 when I loaded it up last night.

from 60fps to 130fps in the loading screen
from 20fps to 55fps in a station.

previous results do not guarantee future performance, etc.

There was still some stuttering in SC, but at the moment I'm putting that down to my Heath Robinson network and that this machine is 7 years old and rescued from a recycling cage. Performance was so acceptable late last night I even managed to take out an AI in a conflict zone before being lagged into oblivion.

There's going to be another sometime this week too, Dragon Age; Inquisition is out 18 November. Quite a demanding game with current benchmarks (980s aren't hitting 60 FPS on 1080p and max settings, it hovers around 50 FPS), which should be boosted with optimisations by Nvidia/AMD.

upgraded from 344.60

hwspecs:

turns out the mobo is only 5 years old, bargain bin bonus!

CPU: Xeon W3505 http://ark.intel.com/products/40800/Intel-Xeon-Processor-W3505-4M-Cache-2_53-GHz-4_80-GTs-Intel-QPI
RAM: 8GB
OS: but running 32bit Win7, so 3.75GB RAM in effect.
GPU: GTX 560 http://www.asus.com/Graphics_Cards/ENGTX560_DC2DI1GD5/
Thanks for the info!

Looks like the update from 60 to 65 wasn't just cosmetic then - you got a substantial increase in performance there. View attachment 1245

Framerate stuttering (visible on fps readout graphs) is also now happening in Assetto Corsa since .60. Looks like we can expect a few more driver updates over the next few days...
