I nearly had a panic attack this morning when my display went all crazy - then I realised that NVIDIA had installed an updated driver. NB It isn't even the latest release but 516.94 which is from August.
Now, I don't use GeForce Experience and for years I have habitually refrained from auto-updates of GFX drivers, staying with a stable version for extended periods. Today I find that I cannot access any "update" section in NVIDIA Control Panel or the applet icon and there appears to be no other method apart from stopping ALL updates via the non-windows Device Installation Settings in advanced system properties.
Any advice on how to configure automatic NVIDIA driver updates now?
P.S. Please be kind if I am just exhibiting a lack of expertise.
