For those with Nvidia video cards, here is a link which shows how to setup Nvidia Performance Overlay.

Add C:\Program Files (x86)\Frontier\EDLaunch\EDLaunch.exe to Nvidia GeForce Experience and run game from there.

Alt + R will toggle overlay ON/OFF

You can also automatically get optimal graphics set in there too, aswell as graphics drivers, record videos etc

While owning an Nvidia card, i utterly dislike Geforce Experience with a passion.

For those like me similar monitoring can be achieved with MSI afterburner (Rivatuner) or even by just hitting windows key + G on windows 10.

Fair enough, I don't install GeForce experience as it makes me log in to update video drivers which simply infuriates me ...

I use Sidebar Diagnostics, HW monitor, MSI Afterburner and Razer Cortex (or did until EDO stopped it working with Elite) to get that info plus the inbuilt fps counter.

I did as well, but now I use it and actually like it. Running Elite on a 60% power limit until they fix their crap "optimization" as well.

And to the OP, it just works. you dont have to do anything.
