Nvidia VR Funhouse

Quote from their blurb

[FONT=&quot]'VR SLI enables two GPUs to work in parallel to render graphics, with one GPU rendering the right eye and one GPU rendering the left eye. Combined with a 3rd GPU for PhysX, VR Funhouse brings both amazing graphics and physics fun. '

YEAH! I´ll buy 3 GTX 1080... wait, what will that cost and how do i mount them in the two slots, my motherboard has?... At some point, the things being expected from a gamer to buy to have a decent experience, get a tiny little bit ridiculous. Tiny!

Classic nvidia
.

Hey we made this awesome thing. But hardly anyone is ever going to actually play it outside our office cause who is insane enough to spend $3000 on gpu's.

Oh and the whole thing only works with these special beta drivers that will only work on these special run of founders cards and this model of motherboard.

Oh and the drivers aren't available on our website site. But this guy we met at a fair is sharing them out of his Dropbox account.

Well, the same could be said of Lamborghinis/Ferraris and expensive wine (after all it is only grape juice).

Point being - it has to be possible, before it becomes probable.

It works fine on my 980Ti, so it isn't locked to the new 10x0 range. It's quite good, if a little creepy by the fact that I'm the only one at the Funhouse!

I saw it running on a single 1080 on YouTube and it seemed to work pretty good. I ask myself, what could NVidia had in mind, when they said, that it is really good with three 1080 cards. Not the best way to advertise their new flagship...

Sorry, I meant this post to be a discussion on the SLI, the VR funhouse runs fine on my machine, single 1080.

I am however looking forward to the day when SLI and VR work together.

I do not however see me purchasing a third to do the Physx
