O_O my eyes when I saw Trading Post in Delta Phoenicis (pics inside)

So, there I was following the extremely fun 71 stops trade route, when I landed at Trading Post in Delta Phoenicis.
Damn that is one good looking station! Been playing since release but I never bumped into one of these! Congratulations FD, it looks amazing!

Nice. The spread of different stations types is odd. You get so many of the bog standard coriolis. If you do rare trading, it's a good way to see bigger station types, but I've seen none like this.

I'm currently trading somewhere that seems to have a copper coriolis, or painted copper at least. Looks nice.

I get some kind of stuttering, and it seems like framerate loss (but the counter doesn't go down below what I get in normal stations) when I go to these luxury stations.

Achenar and Alioth also have these. Aymifa has one too, for another non-capital with these.

Really wow there are a few of these. Gorbachov and Mars High in Sol are both luxury interiors. They are very nice and it does add variety to the otherwise same old station interiors.

I would personally like to see the interiors vary significantly, as too many feel identical, even small variations would keep the experience of docking somewhat exciting.

I'd like to see advertising boards inside the station etc.

I love that station after the first time I went there ,it's part of a regular rare's route I run ,looks like people really like the palms :D

This. I would love to see some adverts for stuff that isn't the main ship companies. Some for equipment (Lance & Ferman), but also luxuries, like handbags, clothes, liquor, jewellery and so on which well-off commanders would be getting (in character).

Maybe some pre-defined or generated ones. A large multi-national could have adverts all over the Federation, but some have regional ones who have a strong presence in their system. Maybe some adverts that hint to rare goods location.

Frontier could make a killing with real life ads in game. I wouldn´t even mind (if done right)

This would be appalling. It would ruin immersion - it would never happen.

like I said "if done right". certain products will still be consumed in the year 3300. does it really matter if there is some fictional game company name or a real life name? Good example from above "coke". I dont think there´ll be no soft drinks in 3300. And I personally would prefer real life companies than some (mostly) cringeworthy fictional name.

I would like to see more 'future' (more fantastical) ads. Maybe see some wacky Empire fashion; Mamoru Nagano style costumes (see Five Star Stories). I'd like to see something radically different to stereotypical "Space Clothes" (or just future modern day stuff), and a twist on using just historical clothes.

FD should work on more different environnement in station skin :

- Service one like Mars High
- Military one : with Ship, Ammo and Guns on the ground
- Industrial one : with somme heavy machinery visible inside station
- Agriculture one : with some fresh goods visible
- Refinery one : with some king of metal, rock, forge inside.

It does notre have to be too much detailled in order to keep game light. But this will be very more immersive for US.

They could use billboards in the station to give indications on which goods are cheap - maybe a 'sale on HE Suits!' type thing. You could auto generate this sort of stuff. Would make trading a bit less of a grind if it was worth looking for any special offers.

The devs should vary the station colour schemes - that would help a lot. They could use 3 colours - a main one that indicates the galactic faction that control the system, a secondary colour that is linked to the local faction, and a third that is somehow tied to the planet being orbited (or the system as a whole).

Yeah, that would be good.

There are actually colours on Orbis stations already. Red(!) for Federation, Blue(!) for Empire and Green for Alliance, though it is on the outside.
