Obligatory Post Weekend Update

Good Morning CMDRs,

What did you get done this weekend? I started out on the engineers on Saturday morning (just base knowledge), and today here I sit with Martuuk, Dweller, Farseer, Ryder, Blaster, and Thani all unlocked and at max rank, with invites to all of tier 2. And had time to work on my combat Courier, build below for giggles. Went with Long Range on the beam laser and lightweight for the multis.

Was a couple 15 hour days in the cockpit, but now I can cruise for mats and work on 50 trade deals during the week at a slower pace.

I finally decided I'd see what this whole Sirius permit thing is all about. My bog standard Cobra got murdered on a cargo run by a mission target FDL

So I bought a Python and smushed his face in with a lulzbucket

Lol that's a bummer after the grind it takes to get one. I will check one out if I ever get Duke but I expect it to fly like an oversized FDL (a ship I have always wanted to like but always end up selling fast). I always end up back in a Courier, Vulture, or FAS, with a Python or AspEX for multi-role so I am sitting on one of each except the FAS (need to get fed rank on up PC) that I'm now engineering (I actually stopped playing pre Horizons and just came back) but its nice to have a liquid 500 mil to work with.

At least you spread some good will though, newb life is harder here than most games. 90% of my friends that try it love it for the first 2 hours and then end up getting frustrated and never logging back in, which is a shame. They just aren't obsessed enough to be "go check the forums and do research" types of gamers and the tutorials are hot garbage.

Arrived at jaques and ordered the keelback...near 70 hours or s...70 hours? Are ye serious!?!

Had my first look at an asteroid base...cool...now fer smaller player owned versions...I wish.

Got bored and struck out to the neutron fields while waiting fer the kb and hit the motherload last night...31 I think by last count neutrons with 29 of them being untagged. Bout half a dozen white dwarves too...very cool...not literally cool but cool nonetheless.

This week will be clearing up odds and sods in colonia and getting ready fer my 3 month trip to the core...thats what the kb is for...short range but with all the toys ^

Me hardcore? Not me sir...just too stubborn to admit defeat but thanks all the same ^

I built an Imperial Courier geared for combat - 2 pack hounds and a PA and made the top 25% in the current CG with it.
Then I sent for my DBX, flew back to the bubble, made my obligatory maintenance merits, cast my vote, picked up my Corvette and flew it all the way back to the current CG, landed it, dozed off for about 30 minutes and went to bed.

Got plans for a second Beluga I plan to take out into the black for a while, so might get that built this week. We'll see.
