Obnoxious Sound In Supercruise

Anyone else hearing it? This is the first time I've ever heard it so I'm trying to figure out if it was always there or if it's new and related to this 'event' that's going on in game. I thought maybe it was a sound from another part of the game that became 'stuck' but I only hear it in Supercruise.

Engineering mats and commodities make a horrible sound when you're close to them in normal space (or in an SRV) - sometimes the sound seems to get 'stuck' playing in SC. I've only been able to get rid of it by exiting the game and starting up again.

Yea, I'll try a restart and see if it's still there.

Edit: Yea, restarting fixed it.
