Obsidian Ant says 0.048% of the galaxy has been visited

Meh. While watching that was thinking its so low because players are doomed to rediscover already discovered systems or use partial data from 3rd party tools.

If the galaxy map could be filtered by previously discovered / partially discovered or mapped / undiscovered i'm sure there would be a huge wave of explorers who would get on with increasing the count because its clean and straightforward to do so.

At the moment im discovering new systems, including main sequence stars, within a mid range carrier jump from the bubble. And people say you have to go 1000lys away. Its could be easier.

His figures are now out of date, I have just discovered a new one, but I may stay here a while, 1 carrier jump from Colonia, got a complete set of rings (all 4 types):)

At this rate we'll never reach 1% explored.
Siiiigh - ain't that lovely?! :)
I'm helping out in the Bubble right now so I'm bound to inhabited space. But the itch is growing...it's just a small itch right now. But soon...
Soon the Black will call, and I will come.
To see what no-one else has, to step where no-one else will. To be the FIRST.
We haven't even started to explore - not really.
It's lovely. :)
