Obsidian Orbital - Did they pull Obsidian Ants Voiceover?

Just visited Obsidian Orbital to catch up on all Xeno stuff. IIRC Obsidian Ant was given the honor of providing the Voiceover for station communication and announcements for Obsidian Orbital - did they change that way before the Odyssey debacle or just this week due to no reason i could possibly think of?

On the topic, slightly... I wouldn't mind some voiced ATC for the new Odyssey settlements. Could reuse the old ones and add some additional voices over time.

It's more likely they removed his VA because of how critical of EDO he has been.

I feel like FDev should be above that level of pettiness. Is he still the ATC in Horizons? It could be another Odyssey bug.

Considering they expressly didn't give Yamiks free access to the "alpha" because they don't like his tone, I'd say they are absolutely not above that kind of pettiness.

I'm hoping this isn't the case, but you could be right. I'm still curious as to whether or not his voice is still in the Horizons orbital.

I switched back to horizons 2 days ago (something i'd recommend for everyone to do to see the difference) so i wouldn't know if odyssey has a different VO.

Honestly, there's a great deal of difference between Yamiks' and Obsidian's videos. I feel like Yamiks would rant no matter what, Obsidian's videos, while not complimentary, don't come close to the level that Yamiks does.

I dont know who either of the people are you folks are talking about. Are they streamers who were compensated or gifted in some way for covering this game?
And then Frontier penalized one of them by removing the in-game VO they did because they were negative on the game? Am I grasping this??

Exactly, FDev's problem with Yamiks isn't the criticism, it's that he does it while insinuating their mothers were donkeys and that they suck farts or etc etc.
