Obstructed? How?

Hi! I just recently got the game and so far I've been enjoying it alot. However building part is sometimes driving me crazy. I was trying to build a platform for exhibit facilities. Yet when I'm trying to place one it just says obstructed even though nothing is on the way? I might be just dumb since it lets me place construction items but none of the facilities. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

It's because the item is being placed on a path. Anything placed on a path will show up as Obstructed.

Thanks, never thought about this as it just looked good So it probably wouldn't help to place a flooring on top of the path either?
