Occasional Game Stuttering – this helped me

Interesting that they recommend renaming the file over disabling the feature in the registry. Either or both should work, but disabling it would be my first instinct to keep updates or system file checker from trying to replace the renamed file.

Anyway, I keep forgetting that Game Bar exists...I tend to run Server or Enterprise/LTSC versions of Windows that, ironically enough, tend to be better gaming platforms because they don't even include any of the Microsoft gaming features by default

Well, post W11 23H2 i had a lot of stuttering and some quite lows for 1% FPS

Doin what's mentioned in this article really helped me.
As in, i run ED limited to 60 FPS. And i had noticeable stuttering while Nvidia perf overlay was showing 99% FPS varying between 18 and 45 with a prevalence for the lower numbers (18-30)
After doing those commands below (except for bios virtualization setting which was not touched on my laptop - but i did reenable core isolation), my 99% FPS are in the range of 45-57 with a prevalence for the 54-57 range.

After resetting Defender, I'd go back and disable VBS and Memory Integrity, unless you are specifically enabling them for security reasons. Even working correctly they generally have a fairly significant negative performance impact, especially on anything older than 7th Gen Intel CPUs or Ryzen 3000 series AMD parts.

Thanks for posting this, really helped me.
I was getting a lot of stuttering flying near planet surfaces, and when dropping out of glide.

Specs for info if it helps anyone -
RX6600XT, Ryzen 3600, 16GB 3000MHz RAM.
