Occurence of planets // description

Hello Cmdrs o7,

I'm currently near the flame nebula and I'm scanning some interesting systems around to return to the gnosis after work.

I've been out several times, but I have a question to the planets' descriptions after I've scanned them.

I'm playing the German version of the game, and for every, really every planet there's a scentence I'm not sure about:

In German: sehr häufige Vorkommen

In English: I'm not quite sure, but I guess something like 'high occurence'

Earth likes or icy worlds, the wording is always the same. I've never saw a planet with a different wording?

HMC-worls descriped to consist of 100% metal? I guess 100% metal is failure in the wording, isn't it?

Not an answer per se (sorry I don't speak German) but perhaps it will help you figure it out. See below the description of a planet in English. Could it be perhaps the "Pristine reserves"?

Hm, judging by that, I think that "sehr häufige Vorkommen" actually refers to pristine reserves. If so, that's probably not the best wording, as it can easily be mistaken for how common a planet might be. If you could post a screenshot, and that part is in the same place as the pristine reserves line is in English, then that's it.

The phrase means "very (often) common resources" I don't know if this has any connection with the context of the game but... that's the translation.

Thank you guys, but my question is: are there any other descriptions instead of pristine reserves? Even Earth like worlds have this one - they should be rare instead.

Is there a description for very rare, and what kind of planet is this? I've never seen anything instead of 'pristine reserve' or in German: sehr häufige Vorkommen :/

You will find other descriptions in inhabited systems (eg in English, "major", "common", "low" or "depleted" reserves) and these refer to how good the returns are from mining asteroids / rings and, possibly, surface materials. I've never seen anything other than pristine away from human systems. In this context, I take pristine to basically mean "the reserves have not yet been mined / exploited". "Untouched reserves" might be a better English description.

I don't know whether pristine actually means a higher level of reserves than major or if it just means "we don't know" since logically some systems should naturally have higher levels of resources whether or not they have been previously mined.

Aha, ok, so there ARE other descriptions. I've never pay attention to them inside the bubble. Thank you, Cmdrs o7

It refers to how much mining and resource extraction has taken place in the system. A system inhabited for over a millennium will probably be "depleted" by now, with all the rich mineral sources strip-mined away. An uninhabited system outside of the Bubble will almost certainly be Pristine, since no-one has ever mined in it before. As a general rule, the closer to get to Earth, the more depleted the resources become.

If you ever find systems outside of the Bubble with any other description, you may have stumbled upon a region of space that has been mined by non-human miners - an Alien bubble. Keep an eye out for that, though I strongly suspect all such areas have been hidden inside the permit-locked sectors.
