Ocean Beauty & Prehistoric Terror Packs

Hello everyone,

First of all, I know that this subject will be debated and that it is quite divisive, nevertheless I intended to propose you these ideas of two MEGA packs that I would like to integrate into Planet Zoo, although many will tell me that it is preferable to turn to Prehistoric Kingdom or to wait for a Planet Ocean game.
I'll try to outline my ideas for these two packs below, and I know most will be reluctant but I'll try to fit these two packs in with the conservation philosophy that Frontiers has put forth for Planet Zoo.

- Ocean Beauty:
As you may have gathered, this pack would be geared towards marine animals and would resemble the "Marine Mania" pack from the Zoo Tycoon franchise.
However, as I know that it touches the ethical side of the community, as for example with the cetaceans, I will try to express my point of view that could fit with the ideology of Planet Zoo.
In this extension (and I speak only in the concept for the campaign mode), the main objective would be to make the visitors aware of the pollution and the global warming, which affects the currents for example.
Frontiers could add elements related to this environmental protection, like a turtle recovery pond. So, what I want to explain is that the purpose of this pack is to recover marine species that unfortunately have problems in the natural environment (accident with boat propellers, oil spill, drifting due to current changes, catch in fishing nets, ...).
Certainly these consequences are not glorious, nevertheless I think that it could correspond to the philosophy of Planet Zoo and we could continue in the game, this role of conservation, with creations of zone of reinsertion in the natural environment, for certain individuals passed by the quarantine.

- Prehistoric Terror:
Again, as you've gathered, this would be inspired by the Extinct Animals pack of ZT2 and Prehistoric Kingdom. Nevertheless, before saying anything about the realistic concept that Planet Zoo wants to promote, I would like to detail my idea.
Just like a Prehistoric Park series, we could think that today's scientists would like to save extinct animals from extinction, just before they disappear forever.
This part is perhaps the least "realistic" but it would consist in having a research center that would work on temporal anomalies, which would allow them to go back in time just before the extinct species could disappear.
Although it seems a bit far-fetched, I think this pack idea should put forward the idea of the importance of conserving present-day animals, in view of the beauty of past animals, which could be shown to the public, raising awareness, without sounding unrealistic.
In addition, we could upgrade our research station and allow our employees to recreate extinct animals via ancient DNA.

In any case, I don't see why we can't have these kinds of packs in the future, as Frontiers sees Planet Zoo as the successor to Zoo Tycoon. There's nothing wrong with adding aquatic or extinct animals, as these would be optional packs. If people want to keep their zoo realistic by using only actual animals, they can do that as well. For those who want to have visitors happy to watch orcas, with background for the conservation and welfare of the animals, or allow others to have extinct animals to show the beauty of past biodiversity, they should not be left out.
Let me what you think!

Best,

In my opinion a Extinct animal pack isnt really what id want for PZ ( and im a BIG paleontology nerd), since there are allready multiple "Dinosaur Zoo" games mainly JWE for the movie monsters and prehistoric kingdom for the realistic creatures, one of which is even made by Frontier. And with Planet Zoos focus on realism it doesnt feel likely anyways. So a Extinct animals expansion would be kind of a waste of resurces, especially since there is so much other stuff you could add instead.
The only exception i can see happening is when Colossal eventually brings back Mammoths, Thylacines and the dodo through cloning.

Would like to see aquarium and aviary expansion tho
