Oculus 1.3 and DK2 - Slow flashes. Anyone else seeing this?

One maybe to add to the DK2 & Oculus 1.3 instructions if others are seeing this? Maybe CV1 too.

I get an odd (and exceedingly annoying) flashing happening approx. every 8 seconds if I have the mode set to windowed but not to full screen. It sort of glows brighter on all the screen but not menus or the screens in stations.

Resolution or any other optons I've tried make no difference, I just need to set the viewing window to full screen and it's fine.

Anyone else seeing this?

I had a similar problem where the planets and asteroids were affected by a pulsating glow. I had to uninstall drivers and reinstall but that was right before the 1.3 release.
 
I have the same problem when I am near / on a planet.

Moving the supersampling up to 1.5 / 2 seems to fix it but my fps is just too bad on planets like that.

As my rig is not "VR compatible" (950 GTX) maybe a performance related issue?

Cheers guys. I'm not describing it well. It's not like this.

Had a play this afternoon.

When I restart the graphics are reset to windowed (so the view screen of what's happening on the Rift is in a wimdow) and sure enough every 8 seconds the rift screen goes light for half a second then dimms back to how I it was

Setting the graphics options to full screen stops it. Border less doesn't

Hope it doesn't do this with the cv1.

I'm going to raise a ticket. I've been meaning to raise the one for the button to go straight to the galaxy map not working in the rift but being fine on my monitor.
