The way I have my HOTAS setup, I just happen to have my hands exactly where my avatar has his hands. It's a bit freaky when he stretches his fingers "by himself." Anyways, I would think pass through might be weird in that case. Would your Avatar's hands be where your hands are, which probably won't line up with the Avatar's HOTAS?
