Ok so I've searched high and low and can't find a fix for this, first of all my launcher wouldn't even open and i would get the error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" I found out this was a .net framework error and updated my .net framework like advised but it didn't help the issue, I tried completley disabling 3.5 and that let the launcher open, but now when I try to click "play" my game wont load up and I get the error "A file has failed to load after multiple attempts as Direct3D cannot lock a buffer".
Looking online the only information i can find about this error is people saying you don't have enough video memory (I have an RTX 2070 8gb so no issue there) or that elite dangerous doesn't like overclocks.
I tried disabling my overclock and even tried underclocking my card but the issue still persists, any ideas on how to fix this?
