I like to ask the CV1 users to do me a favor and check if you have these (minor) tracking issues as well.. I'm trying to find the root cause of it, and knowing if it's a general Oculus or ED based problem would help.
The test: Simply turn around about 180° in your cockpit, so that you see the chair you're sitting in. Take care not to turn your actual chair's back into line of sight with the sensor..
I have a Vulture with a reflecting metal frame chair, and when I look at the frame, and around its corners, move my head, I see some glitches: The position tracking sometimes "jumps" or jidders, sometimes it "swims" as if I had my head floating around a few mms. I only recognized this on nearby objects in ED yet.
I've set the gfx to "VR low" profile for testing, I'm using a gtx1070, tried relocating the sensor and different USB ports, removing apps (voice attack, voicemeeter) that could offend tracking and followed almost every tip in oculus reddits and forums I've found.
Do you have the same?
