Oculus free store credit £11 ($15)

Just a heads up for anyone looking to buy something in the oculus store, apparently there's been some downtime or some other screw up and as compensation we are all getting some store credit :D

I'm assuming it applies to all rift owners (at least that's what the email said), already spent my £11 on something shiny form the store :D :D

From what I can tell, you don't have to do anything to claim the store credit, it just shows up in your account.

I've had this too, I picked up Racket Fury, and have a few quid left over for when there's a sale. Very kind of them fair play.

The..,.. 20th I think is the 2 year anniversary of the rift. My money is on a sale then. Unless a title is in deal of the day that you want it may be an idea to wait till then. Credit is good for 1 year so no rush. Lone echo will be mine. From other suns also a no brainer

I received the email and the £11 credit overnight. :) I am going to wait until the 2 year anniversary before spending it.

i literally came here to post about that now... that pack is a no brainer... screw waiting imo if you want those games :) (despite what i posted earlier)

i have both already and both are must own titles if you like the genres - and everyone here should like the FOS genre ;)

"From Other Suns" shows that it is possible to do 1st person shooters without folks boaking. The only sickness I experience is that sick-as-a-parrot feeling when I die again. It is a very tough game.

It's good of Oculus to realise how royally they've screwed up. My store credit will go to that virtual drumkit I've been thinking of purchasing anyway. The drumkit hadn't been released for long so I doubt if it will be discounted. If the 20th was any further away I would be faster in flashing my cash.

I hadn't used my Rift in a few weeks (got stuck into World of Warships), so my credit was welcome.

Lone Echo is brilliant. Well worth every penny. Especially loud and in a dark room (so no light bleed around your nose)...
