just spotted this - looks like it could be an interesting cheaper alternative to Rift/Vive.

Just tracks direction rather than head position... but as long as its a decent resolution and framerate it looks like it could be a winner?

I see this as an intermediate product for those looking to step up from Gear VR, but not willing to pay for the full room-scale experience. IMO it's a good move to get more people into VR, and attract more developers. I love to stand up in my cockpit though....

Looks very interesting to the budget conscious VR buyer, which would be me. but I've now seen the 'normal' rift is down to $400, at least in the states.
