Hardware & Technical Oculus position?

Hi. Recently i got the oculus rift and its fantastic and got me back playing ED. How ever last night i noticed that position in the seat even when i reset the view to position is slightly to the left. Its only ever so slightly but noticeable at times but OCD kicking in. Just wondering if any one else having this slight problem. Thanks.

I had this only once. It was off to one side, so I turned my head by that much to the opposite side and hit the hotkey for centering. All was well.

I get this, every time I play (I think). It's so slight that I don't notice it most of the time but if I do what the above poster mentioned it fixes it for that session. I never got round to doing any research on the issue but I've not noticed it in any other VR games. I also have the "left tilt" Oculus problem so perhaps it is related to that.

Its not just ED its on main menu on oculus too. I use to be able to sit straight at my desk but now i got to have my chair slight to right. I have taken out all usb, HDMI and put them back again. I have uninstalled all oculus setup and installed and done a full setup but still view is not centered as be for. So annoying :(

Could it be the position of the sensors/cameras has changed? IE: they have shifted or you moved one of them?

Yeah, pretty much every time I play ED I'm not in the right position one way or another. The most common one for me is that I'm too low down and too far back. There is a key binding in the controls for 'reset HMD position'; I changed mine but I think F12 is the default. Anyway, what I do to correct it is move in the opposite direction(s) to where I don't want to be by about the same amount and hit the 'reset HDM position' key. Think of it like adding an offset.

So if I am too high, I'd lift myself up a few inches, hit reset then sit back down.
