oculus product keys

Does anyone know when oculus product keys will become available for those of us that use steam but want to transfer to oculus home?

i have read ED will give out oculus keys.

however why bother? launc from steam or ed launch and put on headset...done

If your headset is already on it will be easier to launch from Oculus Home. For me that will be double since my access to my computer is going to be on the other side of a divider from where my headset will be used.
