[Oculus Rift] distant asteroid field not rendering correctly

I'm using the Oculus Rift DK2 on ED 1.3 and when I'm in an asteroid field I noticed that there is a significant difference in the location of the distant asteroids for each eye. This makes distant asteroids look very odd like I'm cross-eyed. Any fix for this? I'm using an NVIDIA 770 4gb.

Nothing you can do, the game is rendering the asteroids in different orientations for each eye. It looks like a convergence issue but it isn't, it's just a game bug

I made this bug report that has some pictures. If people are getting this bug, add to it so they know it is more then just one person. It is really annoying and headache inducing.

Logging to main menu does not get rid of it, but logging out of the game and back tends to reset it and make it go away.

I find this only happens if you exit to menu and then come back. It also (less often) happens if you start the game and you are already inside an asteroid field. Restarting the game, or leaving and reentering the field sometimes fixes it.

It's solvable, but yes, this bug has been known for a while
