oculus rift dk2

i dont have the money to shell out on the new rift i would like to know if the dk2 is still worth buying i can get one used for about £75 on ebay i think my pc should run it i would love to play this in vr thanks for reading

I got one just recently - couldn't bring myself to the price tag for CV1 ... dk2 still good I didn't know what to expect quality wise - but it's definitely worth a shot - brings a whole new level to the game :)

I play using the DK2 and it works well with ED....It is inferior to rift but I am not willing right now to fork out 600bucks for just slightly better graphics. I too am waiting for next gen. In the meantime I am satisfied enough with the DK2 that I can never go back to playing on 2D screen , even a 60" 4K monitor. Once I tasted the red pill....

I finally bought a consumer Rift after a couple of years with the DK2, mainly because I wanted to try some of the games that use the touch controllers.

I have to say, it's well worth it! The CV1 fixes almost everything that was bad about the DK2 (single cable, integrated headphones that are actually good, built in mic, better resolution) - although it does introduce a new issue of the 'god rays'.

The only trouble is, some of the touch games are so good I've been playing less and less ED. Space Pirate Trainer is brill!
