Seen a thread on Reddit by user MrDanielVR who has made a program to compare O.R. star ratings, and Elite came in the top 10 for number of stars
So thought I'd share the post;

I think it should have come slightly higher, perhaps just under Superhot - but we beat EVE so I'm happy

One thing I noticed.
Apart from lone echo, super hot, and elite.
All those games are free or free with touch...
Considering I think a HOTAS and the time investment to set it up proper is an absolute must to play elite I'm not surprised, honestly almost a bit surprised it's on the list.

Could be a lot of hardcore ed fans get rifts.

Just want to mention that this list uses sum(stars) as metric, so a free game with hundreds of 2 stars can show up better than an expensive game with fewer, but 5 star ratings.

I'm not. Many people buy ED because of these ratings and the strong, arcade-like trailers in the shops and are obviously very disappointed afterwards (according to Steam ratings, at least) because of the steep learning curve, and the slow pace. I wish those people had considered EVE: Valkyrie first. It's actually what many players want: A very fast dogfight PvP shooter, no steep learning, and I found out it's extreme fun as well. I like both games, but EVE is advertised much more honest.

Includes free games and uses the sum of stars - this list is useless. Now only pay to play games and average stars would have been useful.

Have to say that's a pretty good list (even including the free stuff). Guess I'd have liked to see Tilt Brush and "I expect you to die" in there somewhere and maybe also "Showdown" (which is still the first thing I show people) but generally don't have a problem with that (obviously would like to see ED at the top or at least in the top 5 but I get that it's not for everyone).
